Bus travel can provide a convenient and cost effective alternative to the car for some.
Your nearest stops are on Durdar Road, just a couple of minutes’ walk from your home at The Ridings. These stops are served by bus number 400 which runs approximately every 2 hours (Monday to Saturday, with one service on a Sunday) and provides journeys to Blackwell, Carlisle, Wigton and Silloth.
Alternatively, bus number 67 and 68 run more frequently from the bus stops on Scalegate Road and provide journeys to Upperby, Belle Vue and Carlisle City Centre. Bus Service 67 runs up to every 5 minutes, Monday to Saturday and every 30 minutes on a Sunday. Bus Service 68 runs every 15 minutes Monday to Friday and every 30 minutes on a Sunday.
